Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and Aardman have announced they will be delivering a public arts trail in Bristol in the summer 2018
There was an exciting announcement on Friday 17 February when Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and Aardman announced plans for a new public arts trail for Bristol in 2018. Following the success of Gromit Unleashed and Shaun in the City, which between them raised over £6 million for Bristol Children’s Hospital and brought around 1.2 million visitors to the city, the new trail is sure to prove popular but we’ll have to wait to find out which Aardman character will feature as further details won’t be released until this autumn.
Broadmead BID manager Jo Hawkins said “We were thrilled that Broadmead, Cabot Circus and the Galleries featured in both the Gromit Unleashed and Shaun in the City trails so we’re very excited to hear that a new arts trail is planned for 2018, raising money once more for such a great cause. We’ll be watching eagerly for more news.”
