The Simplyhealth Great Bristol Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 15th September when there will be a number of road closures throughout the city centre in order to facilitate the safe delivery of the event. The first of these closures is at Anchor Road at 4am on Sunday 15th – this being part of a rolling programme which will see roads being gradually re-opened once all 12,000 runners have passed. All roads are due to have been re-opened by 5pm.
Further information showing the routes and details of the roads affected can be found HERE.
Please ensure that you have made alternative arrangements for any deliveries which may be affected, and informed staff and visitors to minimise disruption to your business. You may also need to give consideration to where cars are parked, as these may be uplifted if they are in suspended zones. Full details are given in the link above.
Finally, Good Luck to any of you that may be taking part!
