Following the success of the London trail, which ran from 28th March to 31st May, Shaun the Sheep has now arrived in Bristol, with a 70-strong flock making the city their home until 31st August.
Four of the larger-than-life-size sculptures can be found within Bristol Shopping Quarter – Stand By Me on the Podium, Shaun on the Cob outside M&S, Cecilia in The Galleries, and Bagpuss Shaun in Cabot Circus – and visitors are certainly flocking to see them, most armed with cameras to record their finds as they tick them off on the official app.
The Bristol flock will be reunited with their London pals in September when they will be exhibited together, first in Bristol and then in London. In October they will be auctioned and the proceeds of the Bristol sculptures donated to The Grand Appeal, which funds pioneering medical equipment, facilities and comforts for patients at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
