Supporting the Close the Door Campaign

The BID team is supporting the many Bristol Shopping Quarter retailers taking part in the Close the Door Campaign

The BID team has created a Facebook photo album featuring some of the many retailers within the Bristol Shopping Quarter that are supporting the Close the Door Campaign, which is working to stop shops wasting energy by keeping their doors open when using heating or air-conditioning. By closing the door retailers can cut their energy usage by up to 50%, which will significantly contribute to Bristol’s aim of cutting its carbon emissions by 20%. The album has already attracted a lot of attention and will be updated regularly as more retailers get on board.
