On Saturday 10th May, the Lupercalia Band along with several morris dancing teams, will play lively traditional music and dance in Broadmead. On the day, you will see the Pigsty Morris team from Bishopston, Cardiff Ladies morris (unsurprisingly from Cardiff), Rag Morris from Bristol, and The Widders from Chepstow. There will also be teams coming from Devon, Stroud and Somerset.
In the evening, a charity ceilidh (barn dance) is being run at St Albans Church Hall in Bristol, open to the public. All proceeds from the ceilidh will go to Clic Sargent, a charity that supports children diagnosed with cancer and their families.
