Excellent customer service rewarded at Broadmead BID Retailer Awards

Almost 90 retailers took part in a mystery shopping exercise in March with the highest performers announced at the first Broadmead BID Retailer Awards on Tuesday 26th April.

Following a mystery shopping exercise, conducted by an independent organisation, Storecheckers, during March, the Broadmead BID team hosted the very first Broadmead BID Retailer Awards at AZUZA Coffee Shop in The Galleries on Tuesday 26th April, acknowledging the winners and runners up across a range of categories.

Mark Walker from Specsavers in Merchant Street, Chair of the Broadmead BID management group, welcomed everybody before handing over to Jeff Caplan from Storecheckers who explained how the exercise was carried out and what some of the numbers mean (each participating retailer will receive a very detailed report within the next few days).

The Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Clare Campion-Smith, spoke about what Broadmead and Bristol Shopping Quarter mean to her before handing out certificates to Marks & Spencer, Cococheno, Times Past Vintage Sweet Shoppe, Joy, Lush, London Camera Exchange, 50Cycles, Chelsea Building Society and AZUZA.
