BID funds course to promote excellence

Following positive feedback, the Broadmead BID is funding a workshop for retailers aimed at encouraging sales staff  to improve their customer service and selling skills.

The course will help delegates understand the relationship with customers, manage interactions, build relationships for repeat business and use successful selling skills to boost profit.

The workshop will be interactive and participative with practical work focused on issues faced when dealing with customers.

By the end of the session, to be held on 18th Septemmber, participants will be able to:

  • revisit skills needed to build relationships with customers
  • manage interactions with challenging customers
  • agree a proforma of behaviours for customer interactions at till points and all customer contact points
  • use a range of appropriate selling skills to maximise profit
  • close sales successfully
